Here you go. I spent four hours working on the second coat on the sky and the water, mostly the sky. Notice that the sky is considerably lighter than the water. Light comes from the sun, which is in the sky, so naturally the sky in real life will always be the lightest part of any landscape painting, even at night. I am not talking about artificial light. This afternoon I'll spend working up some smaller paintings. I will be in the gallery tomorrow, Saturday, and Monday so the next post on this painting will be either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I will be working on the treeline and marsh so, look out!
